Lens materials including:
Polycarbonate lenses are the most impact resistant material (shatter resistant) and most suitable for children or active adults. They provide the best eye protection of any lens and include 100% UV protection. They are thinner and lighter than CR-39 plastic lenses. The suggested prescription range is (0, no Rx) to +/-5.00 sphere and 0 to -2.0 astigmatism.
Hi-Index1.61 lenses are good for higher prescriptions because they do not look thick, do not magnify or minify your eyes when seen by others, and are lighter. The suggested prescriptions range is +/4.00 to +/-8.00 sphere and 0 to -2.0 astigmatism. Good for everyday use.
These 3 points we need to know to make the lenses:
1). Diopter: left = (-5.00), right = (-5.00) ------- this is an example for your reference.
2). For PD: (pupil distance, the distance from the centre of left eye to the centre of right eye)
3). Astigmatism: If your eye have astigmatism, please provide the power of astigmatism and axis.
